There is a new book about by Suzy Cohen (Pharmacist for 22 years)...called Drug Muggers. The entire book is a researched-based reference guide to medications that deplete nutrients from the human body. The book allows you to look up your medication by category or by brand. There are 13 pages of references to published medical studies ...Way back in 1997 a study found that 95% of kids with ADHD were deficient in Magnesium. Another studied showed kids who received magnesium improved dramatically/behavior/attention. The mineral allows the brain to relax and allow greater focus. Big Pharma doesn't make money on Magnesium, which is why you may not have heard about this. As always, cosnult your doctor, understanding that Western medicine does not teach nutrition in relation to healing. Western medicine makes you comfortable and covers symptoms. There's no profit in Magnesium. There's millions $$ of profit in Adderall. You are naturally going to hear more about the benefits of Adderall from your doctor. |

There is not one cure for adhd. If you are going to post studies please list the references so they can be read and reviewed. Saying that Magnesium is the only answer is no different than saying that any medicaiton is the only answer........ |
